The Band's History
Stagger Lee originally formed in 1988.  The idea behind the
band was to put people on the dance floor doing new and
classic rock that everybody young and old would be familiar
with.

The founder and lead singer/guitarist Dave Stanley had
seen several bands that were doing well at the time and
decided to take it a step further with not only great rock &
roll rhythms, but also pristine vocals that most rock bands
don't focus on.

The band actually has three lead singers that all would be
welcomed as a #1 singer in most bands.  "
Vocals are a huge
part of what we try to accomplish as a band.  We really
enjoy playing the classic and southern style rock songs, it's
what we grew up on."

Artists such as Bruce Springsteen, John Cougar
Melloncamp, Bon Jovi and several other classic rock artists,
along with a mix of some new rock & roll like Creed and
Nickelback make up the play list.  Stagger Lee also does a
good many country/rock tunes depending on what the crowd
wants to hear that night.

After three years of not playing together, Stagger Lee has
decided it is time to rock & roll again!  The band has been
rehearsing in the basement since January of 2002.
