Lead & Rhythm Guitar, Lead & Backup Vocals
Ken is Dave's little brother. Ken played with Dave in a band called Shadowfax
which actually was a spin off of Stagger Lee in the late 90's. When that band
broke up, Ken joined the Holliday/Stanley Trio that Dave was playing with at the
time. Ken learned a lot playing in that trio. "Playing acoustic brings out the best
in your musicianship as far as a guitar player." says Dave.
Having three accomplished guitarists in the same band is just awesome, it allows
us to do a lot of different things as far as getting the right sound matched up to a
certain song. It also takes a lot of pressure off of each one of us when it comes to
vocals.
Ken sings a really good lead vocal and gives the band a lot of versatility when it
comes to style of songs the band wants to do. Ken plays a Paul Reid Smith guitar
through a Mesa Boogie amplification system for a really cool rock and roll sound.
Ken is married to Brenda and has a son Dylan. They live in Hempfield Township.
